Sunset at VyppinPosted by Anup (Bangalore, India) on 13 July 2007 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio. This was shot at Vyppin, Kerala, India I climbed on another fishing net to take this shot. Walking on the narrow rods with the camera and two lenses was an experience :-) This is the last one in the sunrise-sunset series.

Excellent work! 14 Jul 2007 10:54am Rahul from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaI am a sucker for sunsets, and all your sunset shot are just gorgeous. :) 15 Jul 2007 6:34pm Monique from Koh Samui, ThailandIn one word .... WOW!!! Love the colours of the sunset and the contrast 16 Jul 2007 5:47am Babul Bhatt from Bombay, Indiathis is a nice photo, wish you had composed the chinese fishing nets much towards the right corner and adding a tad bit of landscape on the left. at the moment this is dead in the center...hence looses the effect of panorama. good work... 16 Jul 2007 9:03am @Babul Bhatt: Thanks for the feedback Babul. I think what you said would have been better..... Yanle from Singapore, SingaporeSometimes photographers have to go the extra mile for that one special picture. I remember once I tried to stupidly cross a small stream.. there were stones but they were all so slippery due to the algae. So you guessed it right - I fell. Luckily I was able to keep my camera up. And the camera bag had enough padding to prevent the 70-300 I had from getting wet. I really don't know if I was lucky or unlucky. Anyhow, we should always be careful :) 23 Jul 2007 4:16pm KMF from Kerala, kalapakanchery, Indiai am first time in your blog.it was fantastic one and thanks for sharing it with us 6 Aug 2007 12:25pm Naren from Middletown, United Statesgrt8 shot... you seem to specialize in sunsets... wish you a happy new year! 1 Jan 2008 8:56pm danthro from Suburbia, United Statesbeautiful shot!! love the color, tones, compo, nice silhouette. well done. 23 Jan 2008 12:56am |
